This electronic music for Kevin J. Everson’s film Cinnamon was made from the sounds of race cars that lie at the heart of this meditation on African Americans in drag car racing. The sounds were processed using a variety of filtering techniques and shaping. Cinnamon has been shown at the Munich, Berlin, Rotterdam, and Sundance festivals, among many others.
