I-Jen Fang Performs Adventure on Mt. Hehuan at University of North Texas

Percussion I-Jen Fang was invited to participate in the American Percussion Seminar and Faculty Recital at the University of North Texas College of Music, where she performed Adventure on Mt. Hehuan. Composed for I-Jen Fang, Adventure on Mt. Hehuan is scored for solo bass drum and optional interactive electronics. The piece is a virtuoso exploration of the timbral worlds of the drum, as well as the palette created by the specific mallets, striking locations, and interactions. For more information visit here.
