Pianist Ann DuHamel performs Plain Song on her program Prayers for a Feverish Planet – Multi-day Musical Series at the University of Minnsota Morris. Plain Song is scored for amplified piano and electronics fashioned from Charles Wright’s readings of four of his poems from his collection Caribou. These poems deal with loss and death, and at the same time, with gratitude and life. The movements are
