Pianist Susan Merdinger Tours Chai Variations on Eliahu HaNavi

Pianist Susan Merdinger is touring her Four Centuries of Variations program, with Chai Variations on Eliahu HaNavi representing the 20th Century. This unique piece gives performers the opportunity to choose the order of the variations within the frame of opening and closing versions of the theme. It has been  called a “…magnificent piece of piano music that should be in many, many pianists’ repertoires .” (Colin Clarke, Fanfare).
