U of Arizona Fred Fox Graduate Brass Quintet Performs Fantasia sobre el Flamenco

The University  of Arizona Fred Fox Graduate Brass Quintet Performs Fantasia sobre el Flamenco on their December 4th program. Livestream here. Inspired by a trip to Granada at Festival time, with flamenco dancing and spirited music in abundance, the resultant Fantasia Sore El Flamenco was commissioned by Jeffrey Silberschlag for St. Mary’s Brass, who premiered and recorded it. There are versions for the traditional scoring of 2 trumpets, horn, trombone and tuba, as well as 2 trumpets, 2 trombones and tuba.
