Bass Matt Mueller Performs vayter un vayter, First Movement

The Marshall Opera, devoted to new and neglected opera, presents a concert featuring songs from operas as well as songs that have dramatic themes. The latter is the case of vayter un vayter, a setting of the first in a cycle of threee settings of poems by Avrom Sutzkever. Commissioned by Stony Brook Contemporary Chamber Players, the original scoring is for bass, clarinet, cello and piano. It will be performed in the version for bass and piano at The Cell on Oct. 28.  More info can be found here.
