Cancelled, Corona Virus’d Zamir Chorale of Boston performs Hark My Love

The Zamir Chorale of Boston performs Hark My Love, a setting of verses from the Song of Songs, on their program Kolot Nashim: Jewish Music by Women Composers. The translation (verses 8-10, 14, 16-7) is from Marvin Pope”s beautiful translation of the Anchor Bible. It has been recorded on the Milken Archive of Jewish Music, and was originally composed for Judith Clurman”s New York Concert Singers, for a program devoted to settings of lyrics from the Song of Songs.
