Flutist Meghan Shanley Alger Performs 3 Shatin Pieces Mid-Atlantic Flute Convention

Meghan Shanley Alger will perform 3 of Shatin’s flute pieces at the Mid-Atlantic Flute Convention at the Hilton Washington Dulles Airport in Herndon, VA. These include Fasting Heart (solo), For the Fallen (flute & electronics) and Gazebo Music (flute & cello). A former flutist, Shatin has retained her livelong love for and fascination with the instrument and has created many popular flute pieces, ranging from solo to chamber up to her flute concerto, Ruah.
