Whistling Hens Gives the New York Premiere of Come Live With Me

Whistling Hens, consisting of Soprano Piazza-Pick and clarinetist Natalie Groom, will perform the NY premiere of Come Live With Me (formerly titled Wedding Song), and the world premiere of this version for Soprano and clarinet, on the Cutting Edge Concert Series at New York’s Symphony Space on May 13, at 7:30 p.m.Originally scored for soprano and English horn, this is the premiere of the version for soprano and clarinet. The lyrics are drawn from Thomas Marlowe’s poem The Passionate Shephered To His Love. Whistling Hens will also perform Lingerie by composer Victoria Bond.
