Clarinetist Andrea Cheeseman performs Penelope's Song for amplified clarinet and electronics made from processing recordings of Charlottesville-based weaver Jan Russell working on wooden looms. Her tour celebrates her exciting new CD Somewhere, on Ravello Records, which also  features electroacoustic music by Benjamin Broening, Matthew McCabe, Mark Snyder, Kirsten Volness, Joseph Harshanko and Mark Phillips. Other versions of Penelope's Song, are also available, including the original for viola, as well as those for amplified  cello, violin, flute, clarinet or soprano sax.
